Sorrow and Conflict

Sorrow is not in death
but in loneliness, and
conflict comes when
you seek consolation,
forgetfullness, explanations,
and illusions.

I like the part on 'conflict arising out of explanations'. All through the day, if we turn our attention to the way our mind consoles or reasons for the things that we stand for, most of it is anti-truth... Just plain explanations to boost ego.
A small example. My car rams into a pot-hole. Immediately my mind drifts into series of explanations for why it happened, but none of the reasons blame myself for reluctant driving! There arises conflict from within.
