A Dream

Once upon a time,
I dreamt
I was a butterfly...Suddenly
I awoke...Now, I do not
know whether I was then
a man dreaming I was
a butterfly, or whether I
am now a butterfly dreaming
that I am a man.

One of the very deep thought provoking poetry (if I want to call it). Master Osho repeats this like a mantra in most of his talks. Its really profound and leaves us bewildered... whether dreams are lives or lives or dreams. Science may have umpteen number of logical ways to explain what dreams are - but it will still fail. The very nature of dreams is the very nature of life - illogical, inconsistent and unpredictable. I see absolutely no difference between the so-called dreams and the so-called reality. This poem only stamps my feelings BOLD and HIGHLIGHTED.

Great imagination !!!
