Power and Desire

When you try to possess,
your power becomes
invested in meaningless things.

When you desire,
your power becomes desire
and desires are infinite.

Each desire becomes a
leakage of your power.

Hmmm. Not sure what power Osho is addressing here. What is this power Osho is addressing, which if not leaked, becomes transforming?

May I know?

One of my friend jokingly asked me "So want me not to try to possess and not to desire?". That is what I feel too. Desires distract. Power here is the centering of the being inwardly without emphasis on the outward aspects. By moving inward, we gain better self-knowledge and realize the ultimate. Power here is inward power and not the power as we see it expressed outward.
