Truth

Man can embody truth
bet he cannot know it.

William Butler may be the zillionth person who has said this. This is the foundation of Hinduistic Tattva, and the very roots of spiritual wisdom.

Its good that Truth is beyond Knowledge. Thanks to the nature of Divinity. This is one area that unudultrated.

If this were to be in the bounds of knowledge, imagine what woould happen - I can then forsee millions of schools offering TUTION to realize the truth. There will discounts offered saying "Buy one - Get one FREE". There will be competetive companies offering "Solutions" and "Learn Truth in 30 days" etc.
There would be gossips from housewives - "Does your son know Truth, my son just passed the exam with distiction".

God would then become a JOKE.

Well written Sree. I'm tempted to call your gospel: "The commercialization of God".

Nice title that Madhu :-).

BTW, on the quote itself, the fragment which says "Man Can Embody Truth" is in itself a bit contradictory. Actually there are three essentials:

The Knower, The Known and The Knowing. In the very crescendo of The Knower Knowing The Known, the Knower and The Known merge and become one - The Knowing. Then there is neither the Knower nor the Known. Just the Knowing, present as alwayz, but surfaced now. In the context put forth, neither the Man nor the Truth exists after the melting happens. The embodiment simply remains surfaced (where it was always).

I truly endorse that this piece of wisdom is carried from the mouth of Osho onto this Blogger.

Thanks for those enlightening words... It's true that 'the knower' and 'the known' sublimate into 'the knowing'. These are still words for me. I'm yet to know all that by myself.
