The Wisdom Times
Always acknowledge a fault.
This will throw those in authority off their guard
and give you an opportunity to commit more.
[Mark Twain]
TWIST Comment: Acknowledging one's own fault (esp. to others) is not a sign of weakness. The sincerity with which this is done will be appreciated even by the naive of people. People are understood to make mistakes and are free to do so. It's the ignorance that causes a rift between the doer and the victim. All ends well that is done well. We need to develop a deeper understanding of the people around us and be wary of their weaknesses and appreciate any positive growth efforts they take. Remember our earlier mention of 'Do unto others...' in an earlier edition. ( http://thewisdomtimes.blogspot.com/2008/01/twist-reciprocity.html)
