[TWIST] The Judgement Paradox

The Wisdom Times

The hardest thing to explain is
the glaringly evident which
everybody had decided not to see.

[Ayn Rand]

TWIST Comment: At times, we find it so difficult to convince the others on certain things that seem too evident to us. However, the ability to convince should not become a barometer to an existential fact. Neither discount the presence or absence of a fact by the ability of the source; nor get carried away by a spectacular presentation. To strike a balance is difficult. This is an essential skill we gain from life as it leads us through several learnings horning up our judgement skills. Stop. The preconceptions are a greatest limitation to our flexibility and openness. Isn't this one of life's many paradoxes.
